Satsang & Vedic Havan — An Overview
Arya Samaj Mandir Punjabi Bagh (West) hosts regular satsang sessions and community Vedic havan programs. These gatherings bring the community together for spiritual discourse, Vedic chanting, havan, and shared prasad. All are welcome, regardless of caste, religion, or background.

Understanding this Vedic Ceremony
Satsang means "gathering in truth." It typically involves Vedic recitation (parayana), a spiritual discourse by the pandit, bhajans aligned with Vedic tradition, and a communal havan where everyone participates. The havan purifies the atmosphere and the mind, while the satsang nourishes the soul.
सत्संग का अर्थ है "सत्य की संगति।" इसमें सामान्यतः वैदिक पाठ (पारायण), पंडित जी का आध्यात्मिक प्रवचन, वैदिक परंपरा के भजन, और एक सामूहिक हवन शामिल होता है जिसमें सभी भाग लेते हैं।
Why It Matters
Regular satsang and havan practice is considered essential for mental peace, family harmony, and community bonding. The Vedas emphasise daily fire ritual (agnihotra) as a means of purifying the body, mind, and environment. Group havan amplifies these benefits through collective intention.
