Griha Pravesh Havan is a Vedic ceremony performed when a family enters a new home for the first time. The sacred fire ritual purifies the home, removes negative energies, and invites divine blessings for peace, prosperity, and happiness for all who live there. It can be performed at the mandir or at your new home.
गृह प्रवेश हवन एक वैदिक समारोह है जो परिवार के पहली बार नए घर में प्रवेश करने पर किया जाता है। पवित्र अग्नि अनुष्ठान घर को शुद्ध करता है, नकारात्मक ऊर्जाओं को दूर करता है और वहाँ रहने वालों के लिए शांति, समृद्धि और खुशी का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करता है।
Understanding this Vedic Ceremony
The word "Griha Pravesh" literally means "entering the home." This Vedic havan is performed to sanctify the space, invoke the Vastu devata (deity of the space), and seek blessings from Agni for a harmonious household. The ceremony includes Vastu Shanti mantras and specific offerings into the havan kund.
